SeatsThere are two different systems for fixing the rear seats, the differences are described here. The seat backs on the rear seats come loose because the fixtures fall out and bream, but they can be bought as original spares, and are even inexpensive and easy to change. Broken stitchings on the drivers seat are normal, but can easily be fixed.FixtureThere are two fixture systems: On that allows the seats to slide in the length of the car on rails, and one that only allows two distinct positions of each seat. With the latter, the seats normally has a sliding system so that it can be slided on the seat platform about 15 cm.Seats for rails can be used on the fixed system. Only drawback is that they will not be able to slide back and forth at all. However, seats for the fixed system can not be used on the rails! Align the holes in the seat metal frame and the plastic seat back perfectly, and gently push the fixture through the holes. If you have a piece of a broken fixture sitting in the hole, push it into the seat with a screw driver, you can't get it out anyway.
When the fabric on the front seat breaksThe fabric on the drivers seat has a tendency to break in the stitching. Here is an example where it has happened:
With care, this can be mended with an ordinary sewing needle. Or a professional can fix it.
