Engine diagnosis, JE0A

JE0A engine diagnosis seems to adhere to the OBD-II standard. This page documents the activities I have on building a diagnosis computer.

Intro

The OBD-II connector in JE0A is in the lower left corner of the fuse box in the cockpit (under the passengers feet). It has a cover over it. My plan is to build an interface and install FreeDiag on a laptop running NetBSD and/or Linux. Documentation on the net indicates that the interface is ISO.

The plan is ultimately to make it work on a J117, but that is another story.
